THE annual meeting; PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON. June 25. Tho general manager of the National Bank of New Zealand has received a cable from tho London board advising that tho annual meeting of tho bank will be held in London on Jniv 0. when it is proposed to declare n dividend of fi per cent, for the half-year and n bonus to shareholders of 1 per cent, on tho paid-up capital of £750.000, equalling 13 nor cent, for the year ended March 31 last. Twenty thousand pounds will he added to the reserve fund, which will then stand at £685,000, and £48.080 will he carried forward. The directors have further allocated £2O,OtX) in reduction of the bank promises account and £-1000 in t he officer* 1 pension and gratuity funds.
