At the National Dairy Show, which was continued to-day in overcast weather, the chief item of interest was the football match, Wanganui College v. Te Ante College, which was witnessed by nearly 20,000 people. Several scats sold at £2 each iji aid of tho Wounded Soldiers’ Euud. Tho senior game provided an excellent exposition of Rugby, Wanganui having the advantage of six points at half-time. Tho Maoris played well in the second half, tho game ending six all. The junior gamo resulted: Wanganui 11, To Auto nil.
