ALLEGED OFFERS TO BELGIUM AND SEE,VIA. (Received Juno 24, 8.30 a.m.) ATHENS, June 23. The newspaper Messenger says that Germany and Austria offered a separate peace to Belgium and Servia. Germany agreed to evacuate Belgium and purchase the Belgian Congo, conditional on the troops of the Allies not being allowed to cross Belgium, while Servia was offered Bosnia and a portion of the Adriatic. UNFAVOURABLE HARVEST PROSPECTS. AMSTERDAM, June 23. The prospects for the German harvest aro extremely unfavourable. A complete failure is expected in some districts. The drought has been aggravated by a burning sun scorching the grass and withering the crops and the fruit. A NEWSPAPER SUSPENDED. AMSTERDAM, Juno 23. Berlin reports that the Government has suspended the Deutsche Tages Zeitung for carrying on a violent campaign in favour of a continuance of the submarine campaign, despite America’s attitude.
