The latter being -unable to escape attempted to ram the submarine which submerged and retreated. The Cameronia was proceeding to. Liverpool with many American passengers. The attack was reported to the American Embassy. ANOTHER GERMAN MISTAKE. (Received June 23, 8.55 a.m.) COPENHAGEN, June 23. Germany admits that the Yerdandi was torpedoed in error and is willing to pay full compensation.
