Free (40) boat Mias-Crooke (37: 4 and 3Miss M. Free (28) heat Mrs. Glenn (12j 7 and 5. Miss Brewster (11) heat Mrs, Gray (37) 4 and 3. Mis. Johns (21) heat Mrs.; W. C. Weston (40) 6 and 5. Mrs. Penn won by default from-Miss Foote. . , Mrs. Walker (40) beat Miss Helen Outfield (40) 6 and 6. The third round was postponed to- ' day on account of the wet weather,.and ; must bo played during the week. To-morrow the match in aid of the Wounded Soldiers’ Fund will be played in. connection wfth the prizes presented by Douglas and Watt, the Wellington professionals. Tho motor-bus will leave town ot II i o’clock. All ladies aro asked to enterfor this match. WITIORA CLUB. A reverse medal round will be played 1 at Witiora to-morrow, players to choose f their own opponents.
