In a quiet way he lias done a good deal for tho Scouts of New Plymouth. Ho is an old navy man, knows tho necessity for discipline, but never keeps his men at ‘‘attention” too long. Wo liopo that his term of office may ho a prosperous one. The re-forming of the Bell Block Patrol and the registration of tour now ones on the night of Ids election scorns to point to a forward movement. “Little Beaver’s” sister had a nieo exhibit of bead work at tho "Winter Show.
