LATE SHIPPING.
Melbourne. June 17.—-Arrived,'Wim-mora, from 'Wellington. Auckland, Juno 17.—Sailed, at 10.15 a.m., Horoto, for Newcastle. . Visitors to the, Tikorangi' jubilee celebrations on Wednesday were met at the Waitara Railway Station by settlers with motor-cars, and permission having been -obtained from tho management they were shown over tho Waitara Freezing Works, afterwards being entertained to morning tea. Subsequently they were motored to Tikorangi and shown around tho district before sitting down to tho luncheon. A woman’s crowning glory nowadays is her hat, and many women will bo glad of tho chance Rennie’s offer this week of wearing becoming “crown” at a cost of a modest half-a-crown or less.*
