In ideal weather, on Thursday last, tho North Taranaki Hunt had one of the most successful days this .season. The meet was at Mr. C. Topless’ property, TYaihi, and hero a short time after throwing off a hare was found which gave the hunt a very long cliaso before a kill was registered. The other runs were numerous, but none was so long as the first one. The jumping generally was good, and tho fences were well sparred. After tho meet the members were entertained by Mr. K. Peppered, and in reply tho Master (Mr. A, H. Holcombe) returned thanks to Mr. .Peppcrcll and the other property, owners.
