The Gorman Consul, replying to the Herald’s criticisms on German lines taking up the New Zealand trade,-says tho whole undertaking is as much a private business as any other. Neither company is receiving any subsidy from the German Government. They will take wool not only to German, but to other European ports, so opening the Continental markets for the primary producers of the Dominion.
