In to-day's issue Messrs. Webster Bros, advertise a sale of a considerable quantity of second-hand timber and a large quantity of second-hand corrugated iron to be sold on Saturday morning next at 11 o’clock. About half the iron to be submitted is iu very fine order, and anyone requiring good second-hand iron or small lots of good second-hand timber r out! do well to attend tliis sale. A pitfall is presented to ibe unwary inventor who tries to protect his ideas through the mazes of the Patent Acts. Fortunes have been lost for the want of a little expert advice at the right time. Do not risk having your ideas pirated, hut consult tho reliable Patent Agents, Messrs. Baldwin and Ravward, whose local representative is Mr. Walter Bewley, Sharebroker, Epmont Street, whose advice and methods are sound.
