A BLAZE AT TEMUKA. rtß PRESS ASSOCIATION. TIMARU, March 23, A seven-roomed house at Temuka, .ccupied by Hugh Hoare, was, with most of its contents, burned on Sunday night. The fire was started by Mrs. Hoare exploding a kerosene lamp by blowing down the chimney to extinguish tho flame. ISLAND BAY HOUSE BURNED. WELLINGTON, March 24. An 'unoccupied house of seven rooms at Island Bay, owned by Larvey Bros., Te Aroha, was destroyed by fire early this morning. It was insured for £6OO in the Alliance Office.
