The third rounds of the New Plymouth Club’s competitions resulted as follows Handicap -Pairs. —A. K. Smart ana Footes beat S. Bundle and Binnio; Ewing and Waugh beat Jenkinson and Harlo. Handicap Singles.—Luscombo beat Firth; A. K. Smart beat Footes: C. T. Bundle beat Jenkinson j S. Bundle received a bye from M'Kellar. Champion Singles.—Penn beat H. Smart; A. K. Smart boat S. Bundle; Medley won from Phillips by default; Luscombe won from PJumtrce by default. The draws and handicaps for the fourth round are as follows: Handicap Pairs (final). —A. K. Smart and Footes play Ewing and Waugh (rec. 8). Handicap Singles.—A. K. Smart plays Luscombe (rec. 5); C. T. Bundle plays S. Bundle. Champion Singles.—Penn ploys Medley ; A. K. Smart plays Luscombe. The team representing the New Plymouth Club in the final banner matches will leave for Stratford by the 7.40 a.m. train on Wednesday.
