A Creymouth message reports that Mi-. Jesse Sicere has announced his intention to contest the Grey scat. Mr. Kirkpatrick, Agent-General for •Smith Australia, gave a reception for Ueut.-Colonel Sir’ll. L. Galway, tho newly-appointed Governor of South Australia, at the Trocadero. Lord and Ladv Emmott, Sir John Anderson, Captain Collins, Mr. Denham, and tha Agents-Gencral were among those present.
