THE AUSTRALIAN* TOUR. PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. DUNEDIN. Feb. 16. The Australian bowlers were accorded a civic: reception at the Town Hull tins morning, after which they were taken for a trip by tram round tho city. in tho afternoon a seven-rink match of 25 heads, Australia v. Otago, was played. Otago winning by JBS points lo 155.

Following are the results of tho second rounds iu ihe New Plymouth Club competitions:— Champion Singles.—A. K. Smart beat Binnio; M'Kellar forfeited to S. Bundle; Luscombo boat Jenkinsou; H. Smart beat Waugh ; C. T. Rundlo forfeited to Penn; Medley beat Blundell; Goldwater forfeited to Phillips; Plumtree forfeited to Paul.

Handicap Singles.—A. K. Smart beat Ewing; Harlo has to play S. Rundlo; Jenkinsou beat Blundell; Penn forfeited to C. T. Bundle; Firth boat Brown; Fookes beat Wood; MTvollar beat Waugh; Luscombo beat Goodacre.

Handicap Pairs.—A. K. Smart and Fookes beat C. T. Rundlo and Phillips; Ewing and Waugh boat Plumtroo and Wood; S. Rundlo and Binnie beat Lnscombo and Goodacro; Jenkinsou and Harle beat H. Smart and Hurlo.

In the third round tho draws are as follows:

In the Saturday rink competition absence of several players at tho Auckland tournament will prevent some of the matches being proceeded with next Saturday, but Bary has becu drawn to meet Burgess, and Harrison to meet Jcnkmson.

About iuur rinks are expected iu on Jlmrsday from Inglewood to plav a fnendiy game against New Plymouth, ihe latter's rinks will be chosen on tho green and members who desire a game should bo present not later than 2 p.m.
