SUPREME COURT CASES.
A SENTENCE,FOR FORGERY. PEE PRESS ASSOCIATION. WANGANUI, Feb. 16. J. H. Nicholls, of Marton, for forging a series of letters, was sentenced to two years’ hard labour and three years’ reformative treatment by Mr. Justice Edwards at tho Supreme Court this morning. CHRISTCHURCH SESSIONS. CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 14. At the Supremo Court to-day, Michael Nicholas Hogan was acquitted on a charge of stealing £34 belonging to Charles W. Newbury.
