Tho Borough Council of Richmond unanimously passed a resolution that no contradiction bo given to tho reports that tho Mayor, Mr. Webber, Labour M.P., purposely omitted tlio health of the King at the recent official dinner, because ho held renubliean views, and in consideration that tho citizens of Richmond aro deeply concerned thereby, this council places on record that the views of tho Mayor are not hold by tho council and declares its unwavering loyalty to the monarchy.
