Tho course was heavy ad the times were very slow, though the, racing was interesting. The stipendiary stewards held an inquiry into the handling of Paritutu and Haskaync. Tlte former, which was ridden by R. Thompson, started- iu the July Steeplechase and was 'unplaced, while the latter' wV>n the Winter Oats. “In both as the official report puts it, “some aylvico ivas tendered and no further action taken.” .
