Several interesting additions have been made to the collection of the Historical Medical Museum, consisting of objects relating to healing by the Royal touch, comprising the shirt, garters and drawers worn by Charles I. on the scaffold, and marked with his cypher and stained with his blood. There aro also his winding-sheet, watch, and a lock of his hair which was cut off when the body was exhumed at Windsor in 1813.
