HOME RULE BILL REPORTED. WELSH DISESTABLISHMENT, By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. LONDON, July 1. In the House of Commons the financial resolutions in connection with the Home Rule Bill were adopted by 270 to 143, amid Nationalist cheers. The Home Rule Bill was reported without amendments.
The financial resolutions of the Welsh Disestablishment Bill were carried by 203 to 193.
Mr. Churchill intimated that he would not adopt the Pollen fire control apparatus. Lord Newton’s Bill, compelling moneylenders to disclose their identity and forbidding them to send unsolicited circulars,' was read a second time. Lord Newton remarked that one of the most insistent senders of circulars was the representative of a member of the House of Lords.
