Mmes. Farrar, Destinn and Garden arc quoted at between £250 and £3OO for one performance. Frieda HempeTs £2500 includes only fifteen appearances. Miss Garden said sho wished to call attention to her white spats, and said she “would feel badly if the reporters did'not mention them as usual."
