IN THE UNITED STATES. By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. NEW YORK. June 28. A heat wave is prevailing in the Middle West States, ■ and scores are prostrated. Thero have been several NEW YORK, June 29. The heat wave is unabated. Thirteen have succumbed in Chicago, five in Milwaukee, and nine in Philadelphia. RAILWAY LINES SPREAD, (Received Juno 30, 9.15 a.m.) NEW YORK, June 29. Tho intense heat caused the rails near Peru, Indiana, to spread and a train was derailed. Twenty-five persons were injured, but not seriously.
