ENTERTAINMENTS.
POLITE VAUDEVILLE! It is said that the race of minstrel corner men is fast becoming extinct; but, be that as it may, it would bo hard to imagine .four more capable knights of the burnt cork than Messrs. Rookley, White, Spilker and Fairbank, who dispense fun galore from tho blue and gold plush covered corner seats in tho opening production of minstrels in Mr. Vincent M. Beebe’s Polite Vaudeville Company. These four gentlemen have retained, in improved form, all the best traditions of tho bones’ and tomho’s of bygone days, and have added thereto many modern innovations which stamp them at once as past masters in tho art of merry making. The speciality acts aro of such variety, and so distinctly different that it would bo hard to pick any particular act as the star of tho bill. For those who onjoy music punctuated with catchy pantomime comedy, the Musical Bartletfes have been specially engaged. The protean actor, Keilderaon, has perfected a new act entitled “the one man music hall,” which comprises a series of lightning changes, facial impersonations, chapeaugraphy and ventriloquism, thus combining in a twenty minute act tho best features of a performance which well might be prolonged by a loss versatile entertainer to anywhere from one to one and a half hours. The Rollicking Rockloys also add much to the gaiety of tho evening, Tho Now Plymouth season will open at tho Theatre Royal on Monday, June 30, and tho box plan is now on view at Collier’s. \
