NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. Members of the New Plymouth Golf Club are reminded that the committee have engaged J. M'Cormick, the Auckland coach, from July 2 to July 8, and those who are anxious to take lessons aro requested to at once book dates with the hon. secretary, Mr. C. Denny Brown,. A.M.P. Society’s office. Lessons will be given on the New Pjymouth Recreation Ground on Wednesday, Friday, Monday, Tuesday and on. Thursday and Saturday at the Club’s links. The return match played at Stratford, between the Inglewood and Stratford dubs resulted in a win for the latter by 10 games to 2. J. It. L. Standford defeated Gudgeon by 1 up, and S. Spence defeated H. J. M. Thomson by 4up and 2. H. C. Wright lost to Dr. Gault 4 down and 3.
