AUCKLAND EXHIBITION

AUSTRALIAN - EXHIBITS. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, May 1. Mr. H. J. Scott, of Adelaide, who will be remembered in connection with the International Exhibition ' hold in Christchurch, and with the 1889 Exhibition held in Dunedin, writing to Mr. P. Motley Meadows, manager of the Auckland Exhibition, states that ho is moving in the direction of having the Governments of New South Wales, Victoria, and 'South Australia represented at the Auckland Exhibition by an exhibit’ of Australian wines and dried fruits. The Smith Australian Government is agreeable to the proposal, but being anxious that the exhibit should be a united one, Mr. Scott is awaiting information from the Governments of New South Wales and Victoria before doing anything definite.
