Mr. D. S. Wylie has returned from Auckland. The Duchess of Connaught shows a slight improvement. / Mr. E. G. Skelton leaves New Plymouth on the 9th inst. to take charge of the Invercargill office of the New Zealand Express Co. The Argus states that Sir William Hall-Jones, who arrived in Melbourne last week, will spend a fortnight in Sydney before coming on to AVellington, where, it adds, ho intends to settle down to private life.
