' At the annual meeting of the Em-, pire Paxdiamentary Association Mr. Lowther, the Speaker, presided. Mr. Bonar Law and Lord Emmett' paid, tributes to the excellent work ,of fostering closer relations with overseas statesmen. . Mr. Lowther moved that the executive endeavour to arrange for twenty members of Parliament to accept the invitation to visit Australia this year. - Mr. Balfour, in seconding tho motion, said the invitation wag conclusive proof of the value of the association. They should by means of a delegation mako themselves acquainted with the feelings and aspirations of those carrying: ont Empire work overseas, and also carry to them in concx-ete form our Goodwill and sympathy. Tho motion was carried. ( . !*
