, SUICIDE CALL TO A MOTHER. London! April 12, A strange double tragedy was discovered early yesterday morning at Godaiming, when Mrs. L. AVymanJeliryes and her daughter Natalie were found drowned in a pond in Busbridgo Park. Sirs. Wyman-.] eft ryes, who had lived for seven, years in a house with a large garden on Holloway Hill, a residential district, was the wife of Sir. H. Wyman-Jelfryes, a professional man of London. ' She was sixty and her daughter was thirty years of-age. At a few minutes past four yesterday morning a servant, Annid Barrett, was awakened by Mrs. Wynian-Jeffryos shaking her and saying, “Annie, Annie, my daughter has gone out and left a note saying she is going to Busbridgo: Pond to die and advising mo to do the same. Help me on with my cloak.” .. Mrs. Wyman-Jeffryes left, the house alone. The maid went out and told her' father, who informed tiro police. A search was made, and between 6 and 7 a.m. the body of the elder lady was found floating face downwards in deep water in the pond. . She had on her gloves and coat, find in her pocket was a note which said, “I am going to Busbridgo Pond to die. . . Yon had better, do the same.”

The daughter's body was found two hours later, a hundred yards away, beneath the watiV. Some kitchen weights wore attached to a handkerchief round her nock. Her watch had stopped at eight minutes past four. Her fur boa was found on the bank.
