An Annamese threw a bomb into a crowded cafe at Hanoi, the capital of the Tonquin Province of Annam, killing Majors Ahatuis and Mongrent and wounding six Europeans and five natives. The murderer escaped, but many arrests have been effected. The plot was hatched in China, whence the revolutionaries arc subsidising the Annamese revolutionaries. The Hanoi police recently discovered other bombs.
