HARBOUR BOARD.

NEW PLYMOUTH BOROUGH NOMINATIONS. Nominations for the two representatives of the Borough of New Plymouth on the Harbour Board, closed at noon to-day. There are only two nominations those of the retiring members, Messrs. J. B. Connett and C. E. Bellringer, who are therefore returned urnopposed. Mr. Connett '-was nominated by Messrs Newton King, Thos. Purlong, junr., W. L. Newman and W. B. Messenger; and Mr. Bellringer by Messrs. J. M'Leod, W. H. Fitzpatrick, J. "W. Abbott, G. M. Arrowsmith, E. Dingle, and 0. Carter.
