NORTH TARANAKI HUNT.

MEET AT SENTRY HILL.

Members of the North Tarahaki Hunt held a most enjoyable meet at Mr. E-: W. Wheatley’s, Sentry Hill, on Thursday. The high wind blowing interfered with the work of the hounds, but one good run resulted in a kill. The jumping throughout the afternoon was excellent, and the large following pronounced it one of the most enjoyable outings experienced. The thanks of the club are duo to Mr. and Mrs. Wheatley, and also to about thirty farmers in the neighbourhood, all of whom willingly consented to the club’s using their properties. Next Thursday’s meet will bo at Omata. Members are asked to assemble at Now Plymouth, where Messrs. A. R, Standish and B. Chaney are entertaining them at lunch at the Kia Ora prior to the mooting.
