MOTOR ’BUS v. TRAM.
(To the Editor.)
Sir, —I do not wish to again reply at length to the matters yon nave dealt with in your sub-leader, as golf and other minor matters, such as my business, leave mo little time for writing to tho press, which, moreover, I detest, though the length of my previous letters might leave some doubt on that point. 1 merely now wish to say, that 1 think tho essential difference between your attitude and mine is that yon arc looking at the question chiefly from tho point of view of those who would use the tramways, whereas I am looking at tho interests of all classes of traffic, and also of those who would have to pay for tho experiment. There is no question that tram-lines are inimical to all ether traffic, both town and country, and also to other interests. — 1 am, etc., WALTER BEWLEY. TRAMWAY OR MOTOR OMNIBUSES.
