‘“THE FATAL WEDDING.” To-nijilii tho Empire Pictures and John Fuller and Sons will present to tho Now Plymouth public a picture that lias broken all previous records for popularity. “The Fatal Wedding” is too well known to every man, woman and child to need any explanatory matter. Who does not retain a lively recollection of tho great kiddies’ scenes and the “Tin Can Hand” P Tho picture to be shown at the Empire to-night reproduces ail these famous scenes, and a crowd of local children arc trained right up to concert pitch and will make tho Tin Can Band something to bo talked about for many a day to come. “The Fatal Wedding” occupies the second half of the programme, the first part being made up of “A Day with a Circus” (Selig novelty}, “Great Engineering Feat,” showing New York \va to r suppl v. “Gau mon t G\a pi lie. ■” ••Child Cnisoes” (Vitagraph), “The Old Book-keeper” (A.B. Company), “Hypnotising the Hypnotist” (Vitagraph comedy), and “The Dude Cowboy” (Essanay comedy). “A FATHER’S FORGIVENESS.” Another enthusiastic reception was accorded Signor Martinengo at tho Theatre Royal last night. A complete change of programme will he introduced this evening, which will include the great exclusive star film, “A Father’s Forgiveness,” or “Tho Quality of •Mercy,” a life’s tragedy crowned by njerev. “Picturesque Brittany” and “In ‘the Tyrol” are two charming scenics in magnificent Patho A highly interesting and lengthy sporting film of the Auckland Racing Club’s summer meeting shows Santa Rasa winning the Cup. Other pictures are “The Heart of Indian Maid” (Western drama), “Bereft of His Twin” (comic), and “Tho Throe Friends” (comedy drama). Signor Martinengo to-night will play the following solos: Mascagni’s “Intermezzo,” “Violets,” “Home Swot Home,” “Tarantello” by Ponnor, illustrated song “Daddy,” “Son of Mine,” and “Tho Toreador.”
