ST. AUBYN TOWN BOARD.

SPECIAL MEETING. A special meeting of the St. Aubyn Town Board was bold on Monday, May 6, for the purpose of discussing the* Local Government Bill, appointing a representative to attend the meeting of representatives of local bodies to be held in the Town Hall on tho 14th inst., and considering the balaijes-sheet for tho year ending March, 1912. The members present were: The chairman (Mr. G. E. Blanchard) Messrs. F. Hodson, P. Loaland, E. T. Bullet. Mr. Blanchard was appointed to represent the board at the meeting to be held on the 14th inst,, and ho was instructed to object to the Local Government Bill as it now stands,, tho board being of opinion that it is unworkable. The resolution passed by tho New Plymouth Harbour Board on May 3 was approved of. The balance-sheet was read and approved. The chairman signed the same, aiid instructed the clerk to have it published.
