THE TECHNICAL COLLEGE.
MEETING OF THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE. The advisory committee of the Technical College mot on Monday. Present Messrs. F. P. CorldJl (chairman), F. J. Hcatloy, J. Morrison, A. \V. Wood and J. Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan’s resignation as secretary was accepted with regret, and ho was thanked for his past services. Mr. F.’ J. Hoatloy (organiser), preseated his report, which was adopted. The visiting committee reported that the matter of connecting the tuba with the mains, should be attended to.—Resolved that in view of tho fact that laundry classes will be started ns soon as tho apparatus is ready, the board be recommended to have the tubs connected with the mains. Mr. Corkill moved “That with a view to popularising the college, an attempt be made to secure the assistance of gentlemen who will give occasional lectures during the winter months.”— Carried.
Mr. AVood then moved that the chairman interview gentlemen and arrange tho order of tho lectures.—Carriod.
