NOT A SERIOUS SUGGESTION. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Ulay 6. Inquiries in Labour circles show that thq suggestion of the iron moulders 5 union to strike against the compulsory clauses of thq Defence Act is not taken seriously. Officials of the Peace Council declare that tho union’s resolution was not instigated by that organisation, and deprecate tho use of any but constitutional methods to secure reform.
