FIRES.
A BLAZE IN AUCKLAND. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 5. A fire occurred in a two-storied house occupied by James Bottl, in Bercsford Street, early this morning, the house being almost entirely destroyed. The occupants, Bottl and his wife and six children and two countrymen of Bottl’s, escaped with groat difficulty, practically nothing being saved. There was no insurance on the furniture. Tho house was owned by Mr. Coles, of Onohunga. The insurance is not available.
