At the Queensland Turf Club’s meeting the principal event resulted as follows ; The Brisbane Thousand, of 1000 sovs.; 7 furlongs.—My Gavonni, 8.13, 1 ; Pittsworth Gun, 9.5, 2; Lord Raven, 6.9, 3. Twenty-four horses started. My Gavonni led from the half-mile post. Time, Imin. 29sec. An Adelaide cablegram states that at the South Australian Jockey Club’s meeting on Saturday the St. Logor Stakes was won by Banffshire. Sanskrit was second, and Persian Chief third. At the Ccaiiterbury Park meeting (Sydney) on Saturday the ex-New Zealander, Pakau, won , the Hurdle Race from The Dip and Mimora. Eight horses started, and Pakau won easily by three lengths.
