THE BROTHERHOOD.

After much preparation tho Brotherhood meetings will bo commenced in tho Good Templar Hall to-morrow afternoon, at 3 o’clock. Every effort • has been mado to make tho service- attractive to men. Hymns w-ill be sung, and Miss Nellie Castle, the well-known contralto from Wellington, will ) slug “Nearer, My God, to Theo.” Mr. W. M. Berry has kindly consented to act as temporary musical conductor, and Mr. Carbines w-ill preside at the piano. One pleasing feature is that nearly all tho ministers of tho town will bo upon tho platform with other representative citizens. His Worship tho Mayor will preside, and the lesson will bo road by tho Rev. A. H. Colvilc; prayers will be offered by tho Kov. T. H. llosovoare; and tho Rev J. W. Burton will deliver an address on “Brotherhood as an ideal of Jesus Christ.” Two representatives from the successful Brotherhood at Wanganui will bo present. The meeting will commence punctually at 3 o’clock and will close at 4. Hymn sheets will bo provided, and there will be no collection,
