SKATING.

Judging bv the large crowd of learners who assembled at the Glideaway llink at the Drill Hall on Thursday afternoon, it is very evident that roller skating is going to be a very popular pastime during the coming winter months. In the evening there was an-ain a large attendance, and all appeared to spend a most enjoyable time. Arrangements are being made for a fancy dress carnival at an early date, probably on Thursday week.
