THE QUEENSLAND ELECTIONS. By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. (Received May 3, 10.10 a.m.) BRISBANE, May 3. Tho Labour Party lost the South Brisbane seat. Tho counting of absent voters has placed tho Ministerialist 31 ahead, and tho low that havo still to come cannot alter tho result. There are gtill four seats in doubt, but tho Ministerialists are hopful of winning at least two. The latest returns make tho parties— Ministerialists 48 Labour 24 ELECTIONS IN TASMANIA. (Received May 3, 10.10 a.m.) HOBART, May 3. Most of tho returns are still incomplete. A shortage of ballot papers in some electorates is adding to tho delay. Tho analysis of tho present figures indicates that tho Liberals will win sov/n----teen and Labour thirteen seats.
