CONCLUSION OF THE AUCKLAND SEASON, The Auckland cricket season finished, on Saturday. Parnell won the eenjor district championship, beating Grafton in the play-off match by an innings and 60 runs. The scoring was extremely poor. Grafton made 35 in the first innings and 45 in the second, being quite unable to play, the bowling of OLLiff and Kerr with success. In the two innings Olliff took eleven wickets for 35 runs, and Kerr eight for 33. Parnell’s first innings realised 140 rune (Anthony 62). Neill took five Parnell wickets for 36 runs. .Parnell also won the third grade championship. Grafton won the second grade, and Ponsonby the fourth. l
