CONCILIATION COUNCIL.

NEW PLYMOUTH SESSIONS. The Conciliation Commissioner for the Northern Taranaki Industrial District, Mr. T. Harle Giles, has arrived in New Plymouth for the purpose of hearing two disputes concerning the Now Plymouth general labourers and the New Plymouth carpenters and joiners. The former will be heard at the Borough Council Chambers to-morrow (Thursday) at 10.15 a.m., and the latter on Monday, 15th instant, at the same time and place. The assessors for the General Labourers’ Union are Messrs. M. J. Reardon, B. Kennedy (of Wellington), and G. E. Roper (New Plymouth), and for tho .employers Messrs. W. F. Brooking, James Clarke, and F. M. Grayling (of New Plymouth). The assessors for the Carpenters and Joiners’ Union are Messrs. Ivor Hazell and George Blatherwick (of Wellington) and C. D. Arnold(New Plymouth), and for the employers Messrs. W. F. Brooking, J. W. Boon, and P. A. Coleman (of New Plymouth). Mr. Grenfell, assistant secretary of the Employers’ Association in Wellington, will appear for tho employers in both o ises.
