A charge of manslaughter, arising out the death of George Shaw at Leithficld on Dec. 29, was investigated at Amherley yesterday, James Russell being accused. Evidence showed that there was some skylarking in the bar of the Royal Hotel, Leithfield, in the course of which Russell nut Shaw on a bench. After more horsopl.yy a lump began to rise on Shaw's neck and Shaw died as the result of the laceration of a vein. The evidence showed that there was nothing malicious in Russell’s attitude aiid the case was dismissed.
