NORTHERN TOURNAMENT. •YESTERDAY’S PLAY. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Jan. 11. Tho annual tournament of the Northern Bowling Association was continued to-day in fine weather. 'Die greem were, very true and fast. Competition for- the championship has now been reduced to three rinks, of which tho following nro tho skips: Still (Wellington), Walker (Ponsonby), and Wylie (Newtown). To-morrow morning Still meets Walker, and in the afternoon Wylie meets tho winner. The, second series of section play to-day for the championship resulted as follows; — SECTION A. First Round. —Lock 24 v. Iverr IS; Still 21 v. Bund 12. Second Round. —Still 20 v. Lock 19; Land 21 v. Kerr 1-1. - Third Round.—Lock 26 v. Land 13; Still 21 v. Kerr 16. SECTION B.
