A few more bodies have been recovered. (Received Doc. 14, 1.55 a.m.) NEW YORK, Dec. 13. The fire in the mine at Riceville broke out a second time, and hope has been abandoned of rescuing tho remaining miners. Numerous messages were found scrawled on the walls of the mine, indicating that the men had been driven further in because of the fatal gas. Thirty-eight bodies have been recovered.
