LEGISLATORS AT WORK. By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. SYDNEY, Dec. 13. The Assembly passed the Stamp Duties Bill in its amended form. MELBOURNE, Dec. 13. The House passed a month’s supply, and is making slow progress with the Tariff Bill. ADELAIDE, Dec. 13. In tho Assembly, Mr. Duncan, Leader of the Opposition, moved a vote of censure on the Government for not taking action to deal with the breaches of the electoral law revealed in tho report of tho electoral committee. THE WESTRALIAN BUDGET. (Receiced Dec. 14, 9.40 a.m.) PERTH, Dec, 14. The Treasurer in his financial statement said that tho dry season in the eastern agricultural districts necessitated extra expenditure for water supply and prevented the Government collecting conditional purchase rents amounting to £22,000. The revenue for the past year was £3,850,440 and the expenditure £3,734,000. After wiping out the deficit with which the year opened a balance of £13,399 remained. He estimated next year for a deficit of £104,402, He intended to introduce a graduated land tax and income tax.
