THE WESTRALIAN BUDGET. (Receiced Dec. 14, 9.40 a.m.) PERTH, Dec, 14. The Treasurer in his financial statement said that tho dry season in the eastern agricultural districts necessitated extra expenditure for water supply and prevented the Government collecting conditional purchase rents amounting to £22,000. The revenue for the past year was £3,850,440 and the expenditure £3,734,000. After wiping out the deficit with which the year opened a balance of £13,399 remained. He estimated next year for a deficit of £104,402, He intended to introduce a graduated land tax and income tax.
