MR. HAVELOCK WILSON’S VIEWS. By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. (Received Dec. 14, 9.40 a.m.) PERTH, Dec. 14. Mr. Havelock Wilson, interviewed, said he hoped the recent maritime itrike had secured industrial peace in the British mercantile marine for a long time. The recognition of tho unions alone constituted a splendid victory. It took him two years to organise the strike, and he addressed over a thousand meetings, t Regarding riots, he said that at present the action of the troops was quite justified. Referring to British sailors, he said they were better than ever. They were a different type from those of the old sailing-ship days, but just as good at work.
