CARNEGIE LIBRARY.
NEW BOOKS. The following list of books which have been recently added to the Carnegie Library, will serve to show that tho committee is endeavouring, with the somewhat limited means at its command, to provide, besides novels, some literature of a high class, and thus to carry out the- objects Mr. Carnegie bad in view when he contributed funds for the building. It is a matter for regret that tile number of subscribers so small as to prevent tho more rapid development of a library which should ho really worthy of the town.
