The second mate fell in the water and was drowned. CANADIAN WHEAT CROP. (Received Nov. 16, 8.5 a.m.) OTTAWA, Nor. 15. Winnipeg reports that fifty million bushels of wheat still await threshing, and heavy loss is anticipated. EIRE AT DETROIT. (Received Nov. 16, 8.5 a.m.) NEW YORK, Nov. 15. A fire at Detroit destroyed several business houses. A blizzard was raging and the firemen were unable to chock the flames for hours. The damage done is estimated at £60,000. IRISH TRADE. LONDON, Nov. 15 Irish trade statistics reveal that the exports of 1910 for the first time exceeded the imports. Internal trad© vas much less satisfactory. A COMPANY WOUND OP. LONDON, Nov. 15. The final meeting of the Australian and New Zealand Mortgage Company adopted the winding-up scheme. The chairman intimated that a certain amount per share would shortly be returned. i The meeting expressed satisfaction with the result of the directors* efforts. A CHURCH ROBBED. (Received Nov. 16, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 15. A receiver has been appointed for the Thames Ironworks and he has assured the workmen that employment will continue. A GREAT LIBRARY. (Received Nov. 16, 10.20 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 15. The Evening Times states that Huth’s famous Shakespearian collection has been privately sold for £20,000. BONUS TO TELEGRAPHISTS. (Received Nov. 16, 10.20 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 15. The Eastern Telegraph Company has alloted all employees a bonus of a month's pay, totalling £24,492.
