SAUNDERS’ BIOGRAPH PICTURES. The new programme was shown fci the second occasion to a good hou>i. last night, scenic, dramatic and comic items all being well received. A particularly popular item is Rathe s Australian‘Gazette, showing amongst other events, ‘‘Sydney Dog Show, ’ “M‘\ea, liio Negro Pugilist, arrives at Melbourne,” “Adelaide, opening of Gawlcr to Aygaston railway,” “Melbourne, Ladies at Cricket practice,” “New Zealand, Ladies of Auckland, Wellington, Canterbury and Duller, Hockey tournament, M “Melbourne, D. ROYAL PICTURES AND ORCHESTRA. To-night the Royal Pictures will be in possession of tho Theatre Royal when Saturday’s fine programme will bo repeated. To-morrow, in addition to a complete change, the local series of New Plymouth and its beautiful surroundings" will be screened for the last time. Those, of our readers who did not witness this beautiful picture on Saturday last should not fail to take the present and probably the only opportunity of ever seeing this magnificent local nroducton. Tho management announce that their copy of tiie Melbourne Cun, which was only run on Tuesday last, showing Parisian s magnificent win, and many other interesting subjects, is due to arrive at any moment now, fuller particulars of which will be given in a later issue. STRATFORD A. AND P. SHOW There is apparently sopiething very attractive to exhibitors in the Stratford show. Already there are indications that the great number oi entries received last year will, be easily exceeded this year. Practically the whole of tho association’s property, comprising thirty-eight acres, has been levelled and laid down in grass, and at this present time is looking a perfect picture. The whole of the bull and horse boxes—forty in number — are now completed, and give the impression of qii up-to-date racing stable on a large scale. Extra accommodation for sheep and cattle including fat cattle, is now also ready. "Without going further into tho great many improvements effected, it may be said, without exaggeration, that there is not a more up-to-date and picturesque show ground in the Dominion, Entries close on Thursday, November 23, and of course they may be made on’ any day before that date. Intending exhibitors should place their entries with Mr. Edward Jackson as early as possible to ensure correct cataloging.
